Gorgeous honey and straw colored hardwood from east Australia. Harder and more resilient than any domestic North American Species, Aussie Beech works with nearly an interior aesthetic.
Growing in the grassy costal forests of New South Wales and southern Queensland, Eucalyptus Pilularis is a mainstay species of Tropical Australian forests that grows in short harvest span of 30-50 years. We mange several forests of Australian Beach, mixed with other native species (as to avoid the issues with monoculture forests.) Trees are selectively cut, and the ecological stability of our stands are carefully managed by our company, with stringent oversite by the Australian federal government.
All of these factors combine to make Australian species, and specifically Australian Beech, some, of not the most, ecologically friendly and sustainable tropical hardwood harvested on the planet. Australian forestry standards are above beyond even those found in the United States.
